Firebird 2.1 Beta 1 Ready for Field Testing
The Firebird team is pleased to announce that the first Beta builds of
Firebird V.2.1 are ready for testing. Binary and source kits should
start appearing at the Sourceforge mirrors today.

FlameRobin worth $1.2 milion
I added FlameRobin to ohloh.net. It took our code from repository and calculated the development cost: 1.200.000 USD. Wow, I guess nobody would want to invest that kind of money into FR, but we invested our time/work instead 🙂

Morfik Announces Support for iPhone Development
This week Morfik Technologies announced that its WebOS AppsBuilder web development tool supports the creation of applications for the iPhone. The first sample application is a chess game.
Morfik uses Firebird as its default, built-in, database.
