KInterbasDB Leader Drowns

It was with sorrow that we learned of the death last month of David S. Rushby, aged 27, in a drowning accident in the Black Sea at Anapa, Russia. David has been the sole developer and maintainer of our KInterbasDB Python interface for some years. For the last nine months he worked as project manager in the information technology division of Tander, Inc. in Krasnodar, Russia. Our sympathies to his parents, Mr and Mrs W. F. Rushby, of Blue Grass, VA, U.S.A., and family. Obituary.
