Newsgroup using FB
It seems that Marco Cantu has coded his own newsgroup application (Delphi/Kylix app) using Firebird for storage. You can get more details here.

I can confirm it. The NNTP server has been based on InterBase for 4 or 5 years. What’s new is that we migrated from 1.5 to 2.03 with a simple gbak, gzip, scp, gzio, gbak…
There was a permission problem for the tmp folder and we had to download a new version of UIB… but in a few hours it was up and running.
