Installing #PHP 5.3.x On #Ubuntu #Karmic with Firebird #PDO support
There is no php 5.3 in Ubuntu Karmic so we have to compile it with firebird support and pdo (seems that some pdo bugs are fixed in 5.3)

In fact, I’ve installed PHP 5.3 in Ubuntu Karmic with Firebird PDO support from dotdeb.org repositories.
