Via Firebird Events  

The second Russian Firebird and Interbase conference will take place in Moscow, November 23. It’s the largest developer event for our Russian-speaking community – last year 200 people attended. Conference is organized by IBPhoenix Russia (iBase.ru) and IBSurgeon.

As well as the core developers of Firebird, you will hear from seasoned veterans about their experiences implementing Firebird-based solutions in leading companies.

Free seminar will take place in Prague, November 9. It’s the second seminar in the autumn series of Firebird and Fast Reports seminars.
Seminar will be devoted to Firebird news and features, IBSurgeon tools for Firebird and Fast Report business intelligence products.

30 October 2007, in Paris, France there will be free seminar, organized by IBSurgeon (www.ib-aid.com), IBPhoenix France (www.ibphoenix.fr), Fast Reports (www.fast-report.com) and Mandriva (www.mandriva.com).
Speakers at seminars will be Paul Beach, President of Firebird Foundation, with keynote and Firebird news, Vlad Khorsun, Firebird core developer, Dmitry Kuzmenko, IBSurgeon CEO and recovery and optimization expert, Mike Filippenko, Fast Reports CEO, and Philippe Makowski, vice-president of Firebird Foundation and chief consultant at IBPhoenix France.
Seminar is devoted to the Firebird project news and Firebird 2.1 release features, to new IBSurgeon and Fast Reports tools and technologies in database protection, reporting and business intelligence with Firebird, and more.
There will be round table with Firebird developers and experts in the end of seminar.

Seminar will take place at 43 rue d’Aboukir 75002 Paris. Seminar is free for attendees.

For german speaking visitors: In diesem Jahr haben wir wieder viele Vorträge in deutscher Sprache eingeplant. Am Donnerstag und Freitag sind spezielle deutsprachige Einsteigerkurse dabei, während die fortgeschrittenen Anwender in englischen Vorträgen
ihr Wissen vertiefen können. An beiden Tagen können Sie auch im Codecamp Ihre konkreten Probleme mit den anwesenden deutschen und internationalen Experten analysieren. Am Samstag sind dann allgemeinere Informationen in deutschen und englischen Vorträgen zu erwarten.

For english speaking visitors: This year we have a special entry level track on thursday and friday. For advanced visitors you find a seperate thread. In the codecamp, you can ask on both days the experts and let them analyze your real world problem. On saturday
you will find more general session topics.
