The first seminar will be in Siegburg (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany), November 22, 2013.
Firebird 2013 Tour will be devoted to all aspects of transactions, from the basic idea, to the internal implementation, best practices and guidance how to effectively use transactions in the applications, and, of course, performance analysis of transactions and related areas.

Seminar will take place in http://www.kranzparkhotel.de/, Siegburg, Germany, November 22, 2013, from 09-00 to 18-00. Itâs ~1hour from Cologne and 1h15min from Frankfurt (by train).
Attendeeâs fees
Attendeeâs fee includes seminar attendance, coffee-breaks, lunch and beverages. Room is not included.
Early bird registration is available till September 30, 2013.
Early bird registration fee –Â EUR 89, for group of 3+ attendees –Â EUR 79/person.
Regular price registration (after September 30, 2013) is EUR 109, for groups 3+ 99 eur/person.

The 10th Brazilian Firebird Developers Day donations is now published. The money was donated by the attendees and sent to the Firebird Foundation. The total amount collected was R$ 4.101,24. Â Thanks for all who donated! Go Firebird!

I got the following status update from Dmitry Yemanov, regarding the Firebird’s protocol enhancement task that is being sponsored by FDD:
I’m working on it from time to time. One of the TODO items is completed,
one more improvement came to mind and now it’s being tested. So it’s
surely will be available in FB3, at some point after Alpha 1 but before
Beta 1.
I think this is good news!
