firebird – super user/developer
At work I[Norman Dunbar] use a tool named TOAD and have recently been voted as a
TOAD MVP (Most Valued Professional). In my bio I have a plug for

Norm Dunbar has been a Consultant Oracle DBA for the Environment Agency in Leeds UK for nearly two years, prior to that he worked as a consultant DBA at Barclays Bank in the UK having formed his own company – Dunbar IT Consultants Ltd – in 2003. Norm has more than 23 years experience as an IT professional and has been using Toad for almost 10 years. After attending further education at Moray College of Further Education he left with an NCC Certificate (with distinction) in Computing, a Scottish National Certificate in Computing (with distinction) and a Scottish Higher National Diploma in Computing (with distinction). In his ‘other’ life, Norm likes to read, writes documentation for the Firebird Open Source Database system (http://www.firebirdsql.org), has a long running MC68000 Assembly Language programming series in the QL Today magazine (for die hard Sinclair QL enthusiasts), keeps a beautiful Californian Kingsnake called Domino and is married to Alison his long suffering life companion of over 12 years.
