New Firebird 2.5 in #Ubuntu Natty

I have updated the natty package for Firebird 2.5 in the stable ppa with latest release from debian
with one major fix taken from svn branch : the loading of ICU

The next release Oniric will include this fix by default

    One of my customers recently installed FB 2.1.4 in Ubuntu Natty. I just restored a databse originaly created on Windows into the ubuntu box, and could not see any problem. I’m using WIN1252 as the charset for the DB. Should I expect problems?

      I think there are problems only with unicode charsets , please check if you can create new tables with charset WIN1252

      I will do an update in ubuntu natty for 2.1 and 2.5 to include that patch in official package
